Benefits of Membership

Every $1.00 paid in dues is returned to members via benefits. For the $1,000 endowment; a member pays $3.50 per month, which is paid up in 20 years.

It is what the name indicates, an International Order. Members traveling from one state to another will find no need to "demit" as may be required in State Rite Orders. Anywhere a member goes, their membership will be recognized equally and with full credit for the entire time they are a member of International Masons. This is not true with many other known Masonic Orders.

After paying monthly, quartery, or annual endowment for 20 years consecutively without a three month lapse, a member is no longer required to pay anymore towards their endowment.

There is no maximum age limit on how old an applicant can be. Many members stay with the organization for the duration of their lifetime.

We respect the values and beliefs of all members and believe that every human being has value and worth. We do require that they profess a belief in the fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of man.

Upon the death of a member, there is no assessment levied on the membership.

We believe that our women are to be respected and held in highest regard for their contributions in general and to the organization, its growth and development, and their lifetime commitments.

Within the various States, National Districts, and at the Supreme Level, there are leadership development and training opportunities made available to members.

There is a department within many States, National Districts, and at the Supreme Level that focuses on youth development.

International Masons and Order of the Eastern Star was incoporated in 1950 and given authority to operate throughout the United States and other International Territories as established by its Board of Directors and Supreme President.

Whrerever there is a lodge/chapter, convention, meeting, or gathering of members within International Masons, members may travel thereto and participate.

Not to brag, but International Masons is envied by many Fraternal Orders for its structure, membership connection, and democratic structure.

Each member who shows suitable proficiency in their preceding degree is eligible to continue traveling to the highest degree within the Order.

We are more than an organization, many become lifelong friends and consider one another family after joining and being welcomed into a lodge/chapter.
